Jonathan Hibbert

Involved in every aspect of music work, Jonny is an attorney, music producer, singer, and actor. He began performing with his own band almost 20 years before launching his record label, Hib-Tone Records. The label is notable because it released R.E.M.’s debut single “Radio Free Europe” and its B-side “Sitting Still”. The label has released eight records, including two full-length albums by the bands Design and RF and the Radar Ange. Jonny, meanwhile, graduated from Woodrow Wilson College of Law and began his thriving 40-year legal practice. As an artist, he prides himself in bringing great music to the world via live performance and recordings.
